Dr. Chris Devilliers

Dr. Chris was inspired by both his older brother and his stepmother to pursue a path in dentistry, and found himself doing just that at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry where he received advanced training. Dr. Chris takes pride in being adaptable and curious, always leaning forward into opportunities to learn, and to grow within his craft. He is the embodiment of a team player and approaches everyone with kindness and humor to make and everyone feel at home.

Dr. Chris feels his life and his career as a dentist is deeply rewarding because of the impact he’s able to make in the lives of his patients far beyond their teeth.

Dr. Nick Devilliers

Dr. Nick was inspired to explore dentistry through his stepmother, who encouraged him to work inside her private dental practice while in high school. It was during those formative years that he saw firsthand the possibilities of transformation and connection that being a dentist could offer. Dr. Nick later went on to complete his advanced training in dentistry at the University of Florida and spent time in clinical practice in the Dominican Republic, where he volunteered extensively.

To Dr. Nick, dentistry is more than a career, it’s his passion. He delights in being able to execute complex cases with mindfulness and accuracy while making his patients feel comfortable and calm throughout their appointment.

Dr. Theofilos Koutouzis

Dr. Theofilos Koutouzis is a board certified Periodontist that strongly believes dentistry is a science with an element of art and craftsmanship. He has always been fascinated by the opportunity that dentistry gives to be a scientist and at the same time to practice with his hands while helping to improve people’s lives. For him it’s very rewarding to help people regaining their health, smile, confidence, and quality of life. It’s also a profession that evolves and continuously drives you to improve in a daily basis.

He believes Dentalvana offers a professional, comfortable, and friendly environment for patients. As a professional, he finds it gratifying to collaborate with knowledgeable dentists and assistants, in an environment that offers all the technology to provide state of the art services.

Dr. Koutouzis earned his Certificate and Master’s degree in Periodontics from the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden and from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. He served as a full-time faculty member at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and he currently serves as an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University, Department of Periodontology.
He is the recipient of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Research Foundation Award, the American Academy of Periodontology Educator Award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics, the International Congress of Oral Implantologist Research Grant Award and the Astra Tech World Conference Basic Research Competition Award.

In his free time he loves to travel with his wife to experience different cultures, as well as spending hours walking on the beach.

Dr. Julia is a general dentist who is proud and excited to welcome patients to Dentalvana. Her philosophy is to be compassionate and to provide individualized treatment so that you will receive exceptional dental care. Dr. Julia has an easy to talk to demeanor along with great supporting team members who will make your visit as comfortable as possible. Her gentleness puts patients at ease when visiting our office.

Dr. Julia has a passion for cosmetic dentistry with a keen eye for detail and the skill of an artisan. Both science and art were her strengths early on in her academic career and she has always been interested in the significance of art among cultures throughout the world and history. She is dedicated and motivated to provide the most technologically advanced treatments for root canals, extractions, fillings, crowns, bridges, etc. by attending continuing educations, study clubs, seminars, and continuous self-study.

Dr. Julia enjoys treating adults and children alike and loves to make her patients feel comfortable. She is therefore Nitrous Oxide certified (laughing gas) and in addition provides conscious sedation (also known as the Happy Pill). Dr. Julia is sensitive to different cultures and their traditions and is able to fluently converse in English and German, as well as being able to communicate in Spanish and Chinese.

Dr. Julia was born and raised in Hannover, Germany where she completed her primary education. She moved to the U.S. in 2001 and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Florida in Gainesville and is proud to be part of the Gator Nation.

Dr. Julia also believes in giving back to the community not only through charitable contributions but also by getting to know her community and giving her time and talents to help families in need. She actively volunteers at the Dental Mobile Unit at Christ Fellowship in Downtown Miami. In addition, she was part of a mission trip to help the underprivileged children and families with no ability to seek dental care in the mountains and farmland of the Dominican Republic and is planning to be part of other international trips in the future.

Dr. Julia is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, South Florida Dental Association, and the Rivera Study Club. In her free time, she enjoys reading, yoga, and outdoor activities.
