A crown (or cap) is a covering that encases the entire tooth surface restoring it to its original shape and size.

WHAT IS A BRIDGE?
A bridge is made out of porcelain that look like teeth. It consists of 3 or more teeth and its held in place by crowns that are cemented on either teeth or dental implants.

If you have missing teeth bridges are a great way to restore your chewing abilities and smile. This restoration requires at least two appointments with the dentist. At the first appointment the teeth will be carefully prepared and impressions taken and a temporary bridge made. The second appointment is the delivery appointment where the area is cleaned and the new bridge cemented.
