1) Dr. Julia Guerrini (Gene-
ral/Cosmetic Dentist)
Dr. Julia Guerrini is a general dentist who is proud and excited to welcome patients to Dentalvana. Her philosophy is to be compassionate and to provide individualized treatment to you so that you will receive exceptional dental care. Dr. Guerrini ´s easy to talk to demeanor along with great supporting team members will make your visit as comfortable as possible. Her gentleness puts patients at ease when visiting our office.
Dr. Guerrini has a passion for cosmetic dentistry with a keen eye for detail and the skill of an artisan. Both science and art were strengths for her early on in her academic career and she has always been interested in the significance of art among cultures throughout the world and history. She is dedicated and motivated to provide the most technologically advanced treatments for root canals, extractions, fillings, crowns and bridges, etc. by attending continuing educations, study clubs, seminars, and continuous self-study.
Dr. Guerrini enjoys treating adults and children alike and loves to make her patients feel comfortable. She is therefore Nitrous Oxide certified (laughing gas) and in addition provides conscious sedation (also known as the Happy Pill). Dr. Guerrini is sensitive to different cultures and their traditions and is able to fluently converse in English and German. She is also able to communicate in Spanish and Chinese.
Dr. Julia Guerrini was born and raised in Hannover, Germany where she completed her primary education. She moved to the U.S. in 2001 and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Florida in Gainesville and is proud to be part of the Gator Nation.
Dr. Guerrini believes in giving back to the community not only through charitable contributions but also by getting to know her community and giving her time and talents to help families in need. She actively volunteers at the Dental Mobile Unit at Christ Fellowship in Downtown Miami. In addition, she was part of a mission trip to help the underprivileged children and families with no ability to seek dental care in the mountains and farmland of the Dominican Republic and is planning to be part of other international trips in the future.
Dr. Guerrini is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, South Florida Dental Association, and the Rivera Study Club. In her free time, she enjoys reading, yoga and outdoor activities with her dog Bella.

2) DR. MICHELLE WEBB (GENERAL/COSMETIC DENTIST)
Biography
Dr. Michelle Webb is a general and cosmetic dentist that is passionate about her patients and dentistry. S he wants to make an impact, through both treatment and education, in the lives of those that don’t like to smile because of their teeth.
Dr. Webb grew up seeing her childhood dentist regularly, but the love for dentistry blossomed when she began assisting the mother of one of her best friends at her dental office. Always having loved education, science, and people she came to the conclusion that she could enjoy all those things within the field of dentistry.
Dr. Webb had the pleasure of working in multiple practice settings and she believes that she has never been a part of an office staff that has more camaraderie and collaboration, with the intention of providing patients with the best possible experience. Many people do not enjoy going to the dentist and the members of our office attempt to make this experience as comfortable as possible.
Dr. Webb received her training from Tufts University, in Massachusetts, which is one of the leading dental schools in the US. Her and her fiancé Paul recently relocated to sunny Miami, FL and are soon expecting their first child.
3) DR. ERIC COLE (GENERAL, COSMETIC DENTIST)
Biography
Dr. Eric Cole is a board certified general and cosmetic dentist who believes dentistry is an amazing career path as it’s a hands-on profession that requires continued learning. Often as a dentist one is able to improve a patient’s confidence and enhance their smile in the space of a day. Dentistry has given him the privilege to become part of his patient’s lives, which is a continual source for personal growth.
Dentalvana can often provide general any specialty services within the same office, which is convenient and comforting to patients. Dr. Cole believes that we lean on positivity, warmth, and kindness so that the team and patients have a lasting impression. That Dentalvana strives to use new dental technologies so that dentistry is as convenient and beautiful as possible.
After receiving his master’s degree and working several years doing basic science it was time for a change. Several options resonated, yet he chose to explore dentistry. After observing several general and specialty dentists it occurred to him that this was an ideal career to bring technical work and biology together.
Dr. Cole graduated from the University of Louisville Dental School in 2014 followed by a year residency in general dentistry at the University of North Carolina. Prior to dental school he completed a Master’s in molecular & cellular biology at the University of Toledo followed by several years of work at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital researching allergy and immunology. After publishing several articles in this field Dr. Cole worked alongside one of the developers of the vaccine Gardasil at the University of Louisville Dental School. As a dentist, he continued to grow by participating in organized dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, South Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He also continued advanced training in cosmetic and general dentistry by participating in the distinguished Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL as well as the Spear Academy in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Cole currently holds a leadership position in the Academy of General Dentistry and is a reviewer for the journal General Dentistry.
His colleagues at DentalVana and those in the broader community support him in dentistry, and in life as a husband and father. The three loves of his life are his wife of twelve years and two young daughters. Cooking, gardening, and reading are things where he finds great joy. Further, him and his wife love scuba diving, which has brought them to many great locations, including their home state of Florida.
2) Dr. Theofilos Kouto-
uzis (Periodontist)
Dr. Koutouzis earned his Certificate and Master´s degree in Periodontics from the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, Sweden and from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He served as a full-time faculty member at University of Florida College of Dentistry and he currently serves as an Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University, Department of Periodontology.
He is the recipient of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Research Foundation Award, the American Academy of Periodontology Educator Award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics, the International Congress of Oral Implantologist Research Grant Award and the Astra Tech World Conference Basic Research Competition Award. He has published extensively in the scientific literature and has presented at numerous scientific meetings.
In his free time he loves to travel with his wife to experience different cultures. In addition, he enjoys the outdoors and can spend hours walking on the beach.
5) DR. STEPHEN MANGAN (BOARD CERTIFIED ENDODONTIST)
Dr. Stephen Mangan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and has extensive experience in all types of Endodontic treatments. He believes tooth pain is a debilitating problem which is why he wants to help the community through his love of dentistry. When helping to preserve your natural teeth to contribute to a beautiful and healthy smile is when he feels most fulfilled.
Dr. Mangan is a California native but came east to receive his Bachelors at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. He got interested in dentistry as a college student where he spent the summers shadowing and assisting his father in law at his general dental office. He then attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and graduated Summa Cum Laude, as well as number one in his class. In dental school, he learned to love dentistry and excelled in the field of endodontics, where he then got to complete his specialty training receiving his Certificate in Endodontics.
Dr. Stephen Mangan is also a family man that enjoys health, fitness in his free time, and spending time outdoors with his three sons.
