Welcome to Dentalvana, my name is Dr. Julia Bewley and I would like to tell you why it was my hearts desire to create a dental office that is different.  I was born and raised in Hannover, Germany but my parents are Chinese who immigrated from Indonesia when they were in their twenties. My parents only went to the dentist when they were in pain or had some sort of a concern.  I remember drinking soda and eating candy on a regular basis, but since I never complaint of pain, I didn’t see the dentist until about 5 years old. Even then I only went because I had visible cavities, not due to pain, because reality is that 80% of dental problems really do not cause any pain.  Anyway, I remember I was very little, maybe 5 years of age when I first went to the dentist. I remember the specific smell as it was yesterday. The office looked like a hospital and the smell was overwhelmingly chemical.  

I sat in a big chair with all these instruments pointing at me and when the giant dentist entered with his mask on, I freaked out and jumped out of this space ship looking chair.  I remember his last words “RAUS!!!!” which means “OUT!!!” And so I did, we left and I didn’t return until I was 15 years old with pain in my molars. This began my journey of being even more afraid of dentistry and dentists.  However, this trial and tribulation was ultimately my greatest gift and inspiration to create Dentalvana. Our practice smells good, feels good and we truly care about our patients. Our team members were selected based on their heart.  They are all amazing individuals who care about our patients and their well being.

We have developed many modalities to make you everyone feel welcome and comfortable.  

We ensure that you are physically comfortable by providing you with blankets, pillows and headphones.  We put your mind at easy by building trusting relationships and we offer conscious sedation, a happy pill or laughing gas for relaxation.  We have specific technology that allows for pain free anesthesia and we minimize visits due to the digital technology we offer.
